1. Improve screw speed.
At the same screw speed, the depth of the spiral groove can increase the throughput greatly.Correspondingly, plasticization and mixing capacity of the screw is increased, which requires the screw to withstand greater torque.Under high screw speed, the retention time of materials in the extruder is reduced, and the melting and mixing of materials are not abundant.Therefore, it is necessary to increase the screw length appropriately, which will inevitably lead to the increase of torque and power of the twin screw extruder.
2. Enhance plasticization and mixing capacity.
Increasing the free volume of the spiral groove is also an important factor.In charging period and the wave section, thread element with large free volume is very necessary, for materials bulk density, increase the charging period of unstructured volume and material is in the spiral groove, can greatly improve the production ability of extruder.
